Wine for Later DecanterWhen we open a bottle of wine there's not usually much left over, but we're sure there are those of you out there trying to figure out what to do with your leftover half and quarter bottles. Lo and behold, thank you Amazon for hooking us up with the Wine for Later Decanter.

You needn't interrupt your enjoyment of the wine now to fuss with pumps and dispensers. Deliberately low tech our Wine For Later Set eschews pumps spray cans nitrogen gas canisters and complicated dispenser systems for the graceful time-honored process of decanting. Winesceptre Wine Cooling System

Wine SceptreWe're always looking for better ways to chill our white wine - we usually don't go so far as to drop ice cubes in there, but it's been close a few times. Rick over at Martini Lounge has found a cool product designed to end your wine-chilling's kind of expensive (around $120) but it seems like a cool idea if it really works and it'd make a great gift for the wino in your life.

So, you shove this thing in your freezer for 3 hours, then you pour your first glass of chilled wine and then shove this thing in the bottle. It's supposed to keep the wine at the proper serving temperature for a few hours. It seals the wine as well and has an easy-to-use pour spout thanks to the o-rings.

Zork Wine Bottle Enclosure

Zork Wine StopperWe just found a product review that combines two of our favorite things - wine and text-based video gaming. Glad to know we're not the only ones out there in the wine world with a penchant for nerdery. Oh, and the Zork wine stopper thingy sounds pretty interesting too...

You are standing in a small room. There is a table and two chairs here. On the table there is a wine bottle with a very odd stopper.

It is a pink plastic blob. It is attached to a plastic ribbon that circles the bottle neck three times.

The ribbon unwinds and falls off. You are holding a wine bottle with a pink cap.

The cap comes out with a soft "pop."

Don't mind it I do!

Please pardon the parody, but it was an almost irresistible impulse upon my first encounter with a wacky new Australian wine-bottle closure called, well, Zork.
