Cooper Rapid Wine Chiller

Cooper Wine Chiller - WhiteIt's common knowledge that white wine should be served chilled, but did you know the "room temperature" that is best for red wines might be lower than the temp of your house? If you can't keep your wine in a cellar (we're in the process of digging a hobbit hole under our apartment), chill it quickly without having to wait for the fridge or risk it in the freezer with the Cooper Wine Chiller from Amazon. Oh, and it chills other beverages too, but who cares really?

Product Description
Experience the new generation of beverage and wine cooling. When you run out of refrigerator space or forget to put your wine in the refrigerator ahead of time, this handy device is ready to chill your drink in minutes. Our Rapid Beverage and Wine chiller chills cans in 1 minute and bottles in 3.5 minutes to standard refrigerator cold or if you prefer an ice-cold beverage (33F), this wonderful bit of engineering can do it in double the time. Thats only 2 minutes a can and 6 minutes a bottle for an ice-cold beverage!

The No Spin option allows for chilling delicate wines. This patented process is 90 times faster than a refrigerator yet is perfectly safe for carbonated drinks like beer soda ensuring that your carbonated beverage will not foam over upon opening. Great for parties or get-togethers, this wonderful Rapid Beverage and Wine Chiller guarantees that you will never have to worry about running out of cold drinks again. To use, merely add ice cubes and water, plug in, and choose your setting on the electronic touch-padstops automatically when done. No dangerous chemicals, no harm done, just perfectly chilled beverages in minutes!

Winesceptre Wine Cooling System

Wine SceptreWe're always looking for better ways to chill our white wine - we usually don't go so far as to drop ice cubes in there, but it's been close a few times. Rick over at Martini Lounge has found a cool product designed to end your wine-chilling woes...it's kind of expensive (around $120) but it seems like a cool idea if it really works and it'd make a great gift for the wino in your life.

So, you shove this thing in your freezer for 3 hours, then you pour your first glass of chilled wine and then shove this thing in the bottle. It's supposed to keep the wine at the proper serving temperature for a few hours. It seals the wine as well and has an easy-to-use pour spout thanks to the o-rings.

Zork Wine Bottle Enclosure

Zork Wine StopperWe just found a product review that combines two of our favorite things - wine and text-based video gaming. Glad to know we're not the only ones out there in the wine world with a penchant for nerdery. Oh, and the Zork wine stopper thingy sounds pretty interesting too...

You are standing in a small room. There is a table and two chairs here. On the table there is a wine bottle with a very odd stopper.

LOOK STOPPER

It is a pink plastic blob. It is attached to a plastic ribbon that circles the bottle neck three times.

PULL RIBBON

The ribbon unwinds and falls off. You are holding a wine bottle with a pink cap.

PULL CAP

The cap comes out with a soft "pop."

POUR WINE

Don't mind it I do!

Please pardon the parody, but it was an almost irresistible impulse upon my first encounter with a wacky new Australian wine-bottle closure called, well, Zork.
