Swanky indeed! This Pinot is worth the extra scratch. Friday night is dinner party night and this smooth red is perfect. Ripe and moderately juicy with a dollop of creamy oak looming in the background of its light-medium intensity aromas, this one comes across as slightly supple and fairly full on the palate with more body on its side than flavor. In the absence of convincing fruit, it narrows and dries at the end.
