How to Enjoy Summer Wines
We found a good piece on how to differentiate wines to drink during the summer that we thought we'd share with our devoted readers. At first we thought it was just basic stuff, then we noticed it was a five page article instead of just one. Plus, we liked the angle of finding the exact right wine for a family barbecue or sultry sunset.
As picnic season starts, it's a good time to find wines to accompany grilled foods and sandwiches. White wines match most summer food, as do roses. Red wines bring out the flavors of grilled or barbecued beef or pork. All are good year-round of course, but some match summer evenings as if they were made for each other.
