Help Create a Winery B&B with Wine Charmer
Y'know those little wine charmer doohickeys you can hang from the stem of your wine glass so you don't get them mixed up? Well Wine Charmers, one of the companies that makes them, wants to sell a million of them. Big surprise, right? But here's the catch - if they sell a million of those little suckers they're going to build a Bed & Breakfast in San Diego with a winery right on the premises. Pretty cool right? So get to buying some Wine Charmers - maybe if you buy like 100,000 they'll let you stay at the Winery B&B for free.

Small Wine Accessory Company Uses Customer Input to Make History
The Wine Charmer, a wine glass charm manufacturer, gives its customers a voice in creating San Diego’s first ever customer-inspired Winery and Bed & Breakfast.
San Diego, California (PRWEB) July 29, 2006 -- San Diego County is home to many bed & breakfasts as well as wineries, but now wine lovers and bed & breakfast enthusiasts alike are able to help create San Diego’s first ever customer-inspired Winery and Bed & Breakfast.
The Wine Charmer, a San Diego-based wine accessory company, plans to use revenue from its product sales to build the Winery and B&B. The company has set an ambitious goal of selling one million charms by the end of 2007 and their unique business model will give their customers a direct role in creating the Winery and B&B.
Customers who purchase at least one set of wine charms will be automatically enrolled in The Founders’ Club, the company’s unique membership program. Membership gives each customer voting rights on the style of the B&B, naming of products and rooms, as well as discounts on future stays and several other customer appreciation benefits.
“In my experience, I’ve learned that if you want to ensure the success of your business, the more you involve your customer, the better. Not to mention if they have had a hand in creating it, why wouldn’t they want to come see the place and book a stay? Our goal is to ensure that we not only create something our customers will enjoy but to also ensure that we have a targeted list of people to market to when we open our doors. It’s a win-win for everyone,” said Tina Indalecio, owner of The Wine Charmer.
