Screwpull Corkscrew - Old School Wine Opener

We're not sure why people spend so much on a wine opener. We received a gift of this Screwpull just over 3 years ago, and we haven't used another wine opener since. It's very easy to use - put in the screw end and then turn turn turn. As the top gets pulled into place, the cork lifts up - then you unscrew to remove the cork. The Screwpull only costs $15, and we think saving the $100 bucks on another super wine opener will get you more wine and less wine gadget that you don't need.
